The best of local live music returns with Open Mic Night at the Windsor Center on Saturday, June 28th at 7:00 p.m. The long-awaited return will feature a debut performance, fan favorites, and a returning singer-songwriter.
New to the Open Mic stage is Michael Berg, a performative drummer accompanied by a soundtrack with songs from a wide variety of genres. "Michael is incredibly fun to watch and wildly talented," said Erika Sauter, Coordinator. "His performances are polished and feature easy-listening music that you wouldn't expect!"
Returning to the stage after a several year break is Jacob Rudd, a folk-inspired singer/songwriter from neighboring Alvin, Wisconsin. Rudd has self-produced four albums and has a voice "angels would be jealous of," according to Sauter.
Also returning to the stage are fan favorites, pianist James F. Dettlaff, guitarist Jim Probst, and Sauter herself will perform alongside her sister-in-law, Holly Lindwall, with a set of tunes themed for this show's sponsor, Stephen Remondini, associate broker and realtor with Stephen's Real Estate.
"Our June line-up is stacked with talent," said Sauter. "You won't want to miss this one!"
