August Full Moon Member Hike

Welcome to summer in Point Reyes, where the sun hangs high in the sky waiting to welcome the moon. We will gather on Saturday, August 9th when the moon reaches fullness. The hike will go at a leisurely pace along the Estero Trail for total of approximately 4-4.5 miles. Along the way, we'll take the time to explore the role of water in ecosystems and the estero's significance throughout time.

We appreciate the support of our members and are exctied to offer them this special program. All members are allowed up to two guests (guest can be non-members). All ages are welcome.

Details:

• Please arrive 10 mins early to check in.
• For your safety please view our Covid-19 protocols below.
• If you can no longer attend, please cancel your order as soon as possible. These hikes are very popluar, and this will help make room for others on the waitlist.
• Hikes vary in difficulty (terrain, distance, elevation) each month.
• Rain cancels (unless you hear from the instructor otherwise).
• Please provide an email you check regularly for updates, directions, and reminders about the event.
• Registration is required online prior to the event in order to maintain class sizes.

COVID-19 PRNSA Guidelines

In accordance with Marin County guidelines for public health and safety, we will require all partcipants to respect the following Covid-19 procedures:

• Perform a health self-check before coming to class using the CDC Symptoms of Coronavirus as a guide.
• Do not attend class if you are experience Covid-19 symptoms, suspect you have been exposed to the virus, or are suffering from any other flu-like or respiratory illness.
• Participants exhibiting signs of respiratory illness may be asked to leave class.
• We reserve the right to modify requirements as recommended by NPS regulations or local county health orders at the time of class.
