Foundation Sound Therapy will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the basics of sound and how can add this to existing classes and start to run your own sound baths.
The course is fully accredited with the Complementary Medicine Association and this will allow you to gain insurance. The course is led by an experienced sound practitioner who has her own successful Sound Therapy Business and over 25 years experience in the industry.
Over the two days we will cover the following theoretical topics and have plenty of time for practise on the wide selection of sound tools and instruments Joanne has collected from all over the world.

What is the Aura/Biofield?
The Chakras.
What is Sound?
What is noise?
What is sound therapy?
History of Sound Therapy.
Contraindications.
Spectrum of sound and Soundwave theory.
History and and benefits of Himalayan bowls.
Rhythm & Drumming.
Benefits of Drumming.
Practical:
How to play Himalayan bowls
Different mallets and striking tools/techniques.
Different drums and how to play.
Playing with rhythm tools.
Intro to crystal bowls.
Putting it all together.
2 days of theory and practical tuition are included, along with course notes.
Cost is £250 with a non refundable deposit of £100 required to secure your place. Balance to be paid 2 weeks prior to course start date.
