Dalmeny Estate, Mons Hill & South Queensferry

Overview
The walk starts at the Queensferry Coastguard Rescue Station across from the Hawes Inn. We will follow the John Muir Way around the coast and then we will slowly ascend Mons Hill. Good views of the the Forth Bridges can be seen ascending this hill. After descending we will walk along the Old Railway Line until The Binks and then we will head along the Harbour back to the start point.
Cautions: Mostly good paths but Mons Hill could be muddy, has uneven ground with tree roots. There are two roads to cross.

I will try to book a table for Lunch at the Hawes Inn a week before the event, so please tell me if you wish to stay for lunch.
