BRASS ON THE GRASS – SUNDAY 25TH MAY 1.45PM

Hello everybody. I just want to remind you all that on Sunday 25th May we are having Kingdom Youth Brass band from Kelty coming to play in the garden. The band will start at 2.00pm, so make sure you come in plenty of time to hear them. They will play for half an hour. After that there will be a few activities to participate in. There will be an art activity for younger children and a treasure hunt for older kids. Local musician Joe Gillan will be providing some ambient music on his guitar while you relax in the garden. Feel free to explore. The garden’s Coordinator and the hard working team of Volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
There will be two stalls to peruse:
Some plants we have potted up from the garden. No specific fee, but a small donation is all we ask.
Sponsor a Slate
We have a number of old roof slates. Write / draw something on one with our permanent paint pens. This can be anything from your favourite film quote, some poetry, a line of a song, or perhaps you would like to dedicate it to a loved one. Then place your slate somewhere in the garden and become part of the garden itself.
For this, there is a small charge:- Adults £3 Children £2
Make an afternoon of it and bring a picnic.
