Book Launch and Author Talk with Lauren Sleeman

Join us in a special book launch for Lauren Sleeman, who writes under the name L.A. Joyce. She’s one of our own! Lauren grew up in Winton, Southland (she even went to Winton Primary!) and now she’s back with a brand-new mystery novel called Wrongdoings—a thrilling story set right here in Southland, full of secrets, suspense, and a dash of local history.
Wrongdoings, has been entered into the Ngaio Marsh Book Awards.

Lauren always enjoyed crime fiction and decided that her third book would explore this genre, her previous works, Behold and La Magdalena, explore feminist mythology and the sacred wisdom of ancient goddesses.
Everyone is invited for a brief book discussion and opportunity for a Q and A with the author. Copies of the book will be available for purchase the same day.
