Left to rule Vienna in Duke Vincentio’s absence, the puritanical Angelo prosecutes Claudio for the crime of fornication—prompting the accused’s sister, Isabella, to confront Angelo’s merciless interpretation of the law.

Reimagined by director Bill Church as a 1970s-inspired urban thriller, Shakespeare’s final comedy plumbs enduring themes of justice, power, and forgiveness through both edge-of-your-seat action and moments of levity.
