About the event

Jr. Police Academy
Join local police officers and learn what it's like to work in law enforcement. See all the equipment used by officers, including patrol cars, computers, tasers, and more. Learn what it's like to go on patrol. Help detectives solve crime using fingerprinting and footprint casting. Learn the importance of saying NO to drugs from a Drug Task Force Officer, join in a foot chase, learn basic defensive tactics and how to deal with bullies.

Every student will receive a t-shirt, signed certificate, and will participate in the academy graduation. Snacks will also be provided each day.

Instructed by Officer Jay Hackett and fellow officers of the IPD.
