World Lindy Hop Day Canal Celebration - Community Access

In celebration of World Lindy Hop Day, join Naptown Dance for some fun dancing on the Canal! All are welcome and the event is free to attend!

Schedule:
6:30: Shim Sham Lesson
7:15: Beginner drop in Lesson
8:00: Dancing to DJ'd music

One of the most well known dance routines in Lindy Hop is the Shim Sham. We will be teaching this iconic routine so you can join the masses in this fun choreographed dance!

We will also have a beginner lesson. This will give you the basics of dancing with another person. No Partner required!

DJ'd open dancing will start promptly after the lesson. Nothing quite like dancing outdoors in the nice May weather!

This is a Community Access event and is meant to be inclusive for the community to attend. These classes and dances are beginner friendly so we hope to see you there!
