Somatics and Reiki: The Energetics of Healing with Lisa & Brett Daugherty

Lisa and Brett Daugherty will be drawing on 30 years of steady partnership to bring you this special and unique offering. Throughout their decades together, Lisa has honed her skills and wisdom of working with the physical body, while Brett has developed his gifts of energetic healing.

We know that stress and trauma can show up in the body as physical and/or emotional pain, sensory motor amnesia, maladaptive movement patterns and chronic tension.

This gentle, grounding class will include somatic teachings and practices to help us cultivate a deep inner felt sense of our bodies as trustworthy sources of information and adaptation. In addition, Brett will teach energetic clearing practices and offer reiki attunements for the participants.

Brett is a certified Reiki master and a certified yoga instructor. Lisa has 23 years of experience teaching yoga and began incorporating somatics into her teachings in the past 5 years. Together, they have taught partner yoga to hundreds of students and guided and facilitated national and international yoga retreats.
