"Luck Finds Love" is a heartfelt journey through the golden days of Indiana Avenue, where jazz filled the air, clubs thrived, and dreams took center stage. Cecil Walker, a young man with a voice full of soul, dreams of using his talent to buy a home for his widowed mother. By day, he bags groceries; by night, he serenades passersby on the Avenue, hoping for his big break. When a prestigious talent competition at The Walker Theatre offers him a chance to shine, Cecil is determined to seize the moment. But fate has other plans. A twist of misfortune on the way to the show changes his life forever—yet, in the midst of heartbreak, he discovers a love he never expected. Set against the rich cultural backdrop of a thriving Black artistic community, Luck Finds Love is a story of resilience, romance, and the music that carries us forward.
