The Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and Dance Kaleidoscope return to the Schrott Center for the Arts for a thrilling collaboration that brings together bold music and electrifying dance. Feel the pulse of John Adams Shaker Loops as choreographer Joshua Blake Carter translates the works driving rhythms and shimmering textures into a kinetic, mesmerizing display of movement. Then, step into the bustling streets of 1920s France with Gershwins, An American in Paris, brought to life through the vibrant choreography of David Hochoy. The program also features the second movement of Glass Pieces by Philip Glass, a hypnotic and meditative work that evokes ritual and reverence, with choreography by Sean Aaron Carmon.
