Best way to start Turkey Day, be there or be (home in bed, on the road to somewhere, anything but SQUARE).
-Do you need to go the whole way? - NO! Go as far as is fun for you, maybe just as far as dropping off a giftcard donation in the collection box and an easy mosey across the road for coffee
-Will the roads be marked? - NO! But there are sidewalks on most roads and low car-traffic at this time of day. Review the map ahead of time - basically get yourself from Kroger to MES by way of Laurel/Thomas and back to Kroger by way of She-Mingos, Timberlanes, Cross Euclid on Fowler, and back along Southside.
-Do you need to register? - NO! It's not an "official" event - just a community tradition in its 16th year, Join the fun!
-Can anyone come? - YES!! Houseguests, spouses, kids, neighbors, pets, all are welcome
-Should I wear a costume? - YES! But truthfully, most people don't. I just wish this idea would catch on.... Turkey hats, Grinch PJs, Tinsel scarves, the ideas are endless.....
