Our Wild Tots 'Forest School' is back for another term of fun! Come and be part of our happy little community and get some TLC around The Log Circle while your little one plays and learns! This is a weekly Forest School group and is aimed at children aged 2 to 6+. We welcome home educating families with younger children.
Places are bookable in 6 or 12 week blocks and run term time only. If you would like to try it out first we welcome you to book a single taster session to see what you think! Each ticket includes one child, with one accompanying adult.
Each session is led by a fully qualified forest school practitioner, supported by at least one of our lovely Log Circle assistants and volunteers, and will be carefully planned to develop skills, introduce new experiences and to support the needs and individual interests of the children in the group. A range of activities will be provided for children to get involved with if they want to, although our sessions are child-led and we encourage our Wild Tots to make their own adventures! We have a maximum of 16 children in each group to make sure that we can give all your little ones lots of attention!
You can expect the full range of forest school experiences at every session, including our popular mud kitchen, various swings & ropes, crafts, tool work, snacks and drinks, songs, stories, games and child-led nature play! We will safely have a campfire at many of our sessions (never in hot weather or very dry conditions) and children will even get opportunities to prepare and cook their snacks.
Please note: where bookings are made for siblings from the same household, the first place will be charged at the 'standard' rate, while siblings (over 18m) will be charged at a special discounted rate.
