FORBITS is once again playing a special show at the recently remodeled Audiowild Studios on August 16, 7:30-9:30pm. We played shows there last two summers and they were both incredible! This year we have our regular drummer, Kendall Kay, with us....AND of course trombonist/balloon guy Joey Sellers "tailgating" in the way only he can.
AND...Joel Hamilton, our bassist, played with us at Audiowild last year. He loved Idyllwild so much that he just moved here this week. This will be his first show in Idy as an official resident!! Welcome Joel.🎻
Audiowild is an intimate listening space that seats about 40 people (see photo below). We are excited about this event because even though we love playing at Ferro, much of our music is very subtle and gets lost in the background noise of the restaurant. This show will be an opportunity to hear us in a setting where you can hear a pin drop (maybe we'll drop some pins). Here is an example of the kind of pin-dropping music I'm talking about.
This is also a BYOB/BYOF event. You can bring your own beverages (including alcohol) as well as your own food. There will be a break between sets when smokers can go out to the parking lot.
You should bring a folding chair (like you do for the summer concerts).
