Moderate Hike Chief Mt. New DATE!

🌄 Chief Mountain Hike – Thursday, May 2st at 10:00 AM

Join us for a quick and invigorating hike up Chief Mountain!
This trail is a fantastic workout with a rewarding summit view — perfect training for bigger summer hikes.

Trail Details:
• Distance: About 3 miles round trip
• Elevation Gain: Around 1,000 feet
• Difficulty: Moderate
• Trail Type: Out and back
• Estimated Duration: About 2 hours

Meeting Point:
• Location: Chief Mountain Trailhead, off CO-103 (Squaw Pass Road)
• Directions: From Denver, take I-70 west to exit 252, then follow CO-74 to CO-103. Continue on CO-103 for about 12 miles. Parking is a pull-off on the north side of the road near mile marker 18. The trail starts across the road.

What to Bring:
• Plenty of water
• A light snack
• Layers for changing weather
• Sturdy hiking shoes
• Sunscreen and sunglasses

Additional Notes:
• Dogs are welcome (on leash).
• No restrooms at the trailhead.
• Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged if possible!
