Join us on our trail run where you can discover different parts of the island and meet other runners!
Every Saturday in the summer we will run a route we call "Salt of the Earth" because it´s in the protected park of Salinas!
The route will take us up and over the small hill in the woods to Experimental Cocktail Club, where we’ll get breathtaking views of the Salinas lakes and Platja Codolar.
From there we run along the camino that cuts through the salt lakes, where we should see the flamingos who live there all year round!
We´ll then follow a small camino through the woods at the back of Salinas as far as the pirate watch tower, before finishing this beautiful run along the coast, where we´ll go slowly over some challenging rocky terrain and then the golden sands of the beach past the chiringuitos, back to where we started.
Bring your swimming things for a dip at the end!
It’s about 10k and pretty flat, however some of the terrain is quite rocky. We will run slowly and stop for photos. This is a social run, not a serious training run. All abilities are welcome!
The meeting point is the parking in front of Hostal Mar y Sal.
The cost is from €25 for 1 or 2 runners/runs, with savings for more runners or multiple runs. (For residents we still offer the all-year price of €5 or 5 runs for €20). We will also be leading summer runs on Thursday morning from Santa Eularia and Tuesday sunset from San Antonio.
