Vlad Alui Gheorghe on PUNK

The speaker of this edition of CreativeMornings is Vlad Alui Gheorghe.

Born in 1992 in Piatra Neamț, Vlad Alui Gheorghe has been rewriting the rules ever since. A poet, musician, and doctor of literature.

He published the poetry collections 𝐹𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑒 𝑚𝑢𝑡. 𝑙𝑎 𝑛𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑎𝑝𝑎 𝑒 𝑐𝑢𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑎̆ (Paralela 45, 2013) and 𝐷𝑖𝑠𝑐𝑜 2000 (Charmides, 2016) under the pseudonym Vlad A. Gheorghiu, and more recently, under his real name, the volume 𝑀𝑖𝑐𝑖 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑢𝑙𝑒 𝑓𝑎̆𝑟𝑎̆ 𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑑𝑒𝑎𝑡̦𝑎̆ (Tracus Arte, 2024), a collection that earned him the Young Poet of the Year award at the Gala of Young Writers.

But poetry is just one part of what he does. He writes about alternative and underground music on polifonic.ro, and since 2017, he’s part of the alternative rock band Adam’s Nest, bringing poetry to the stage through music.
