Discover the Joy of Sewing — One Stitch at a Time

Introduce your child to the timeless craft of sewing in a welcoming, supportive environment! Under the guidance of experienced sewing instructor Saba Tshibaka, these weekly classes are designed to build confidence, cultivate creativity, and teach valuable sewing skills that will last a lifetime.

From mastering the very basics of sewing to creating beautiful, functional projects, your child will gain hands‑on experience that encourages patience, precision, and problem‑solving. Our goal is to help your child understand how to use a sewing machine safely, practice foundational techniques, and have a blast making something they can take home and be proud of.

  • The ability to practice and perfect straight and curved stitching.
  • Confidence to move on to more complex projects.

In the second session, students apply the skills learned in the morning by choosing from one of three hands‑on projects:

  • Tote or Mini‑Tote Bag
  • Fabric Bookmark
  • Decorative Headband

What They Will Take Away:

  • A completed, functional sewing project that they can use or wear.
  • New sewing techniques such as top‑stitching, working with trims, and finishing edges.
  • Greater confidence and comfort with the sewing machine and hand‑sewing methods.
