Maryland Meadworks is HONORED to host legendary roots rock guitarist Dave Chappell, one of the most sought after and respected musicians in the area, backed by the outstanding Manny Arciniega (drums) and Ian Riggs (bass).
Dave Chappell, multi- WAMMIE* award winning 'Musician of the Year', 'Rock Instrumentalist of the Year', and 'Roots Rock Instrumentalist of the Year', has performed with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, Percy Sledge, Johnny Johnson, and guitar wizard, Danny Gatton. Manny Arciniega is a percussionist, arranger, and composer whose credits include We’re Gonna Die at Round House Theatre; Miss You Like Hell at Olney Theatre Center; Lovesick at Theatre J; In the Heights at Gala Hispanic Theatre; Caucasian Chalk Circle, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Avenue Q at Constellation Theatre; Chicago, Next to Normal, and Cabaret at the Keegan Theatre and appearances with The Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and The Symphony Orchestra of India.
Hyattsville's own Ian Riggs has been a working bass player, singer and composer across multiple genres in NYC and DC for over 30 years, including hundreds of concerts with Ethan Lipton and his Orchestra, performing in Broadway shows and playing at the Hollywood Bowl with Reggae legend, Burning Spear.
