Pressed for Beauty: A Flower Pressing Workshop

Join us for a hands-on flower pressing class that blends art, nature, and history! In this creative workshop, you’ll learn the delicate craft of preserving flowers through traditional and modern pressing methods. We’ll begin with a brief look into the history of flower pressing—from Victorian-era botanical art to its uses in science and personal keepsakes.

You’ll then explore the technique for pressing flowers using a wooden flower press. After learning the basics, you’ll get hands-on experience by creating your own pressed flower piece to take home—perfect for framing, card-making, or journaling.

All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary. Come celebrate the beauty of nature in a lasting way!

**Registration includes a 10.8×6.9 inch wooden flower press to use with the project and take home.
