Plaster Casting Basics

Class Level: INTERMEDIATE

Get started plaster casting with silicone molds and make your own unique casting such as a planter, keepsake box, vase, or candle holder. In this class, you’ll get hands-on experience mixing and coloring plaster and using molds to bring out amazing details. It’s a fun way to make custom decor or gifts, and you’ll head home with a cast piece you made yourself, plus the basics to keep casting on your own.

All materials needed will be made available. This IS a beginner-friendly class. However, plaster casting is more complex than many other crafts - science and math are a big part of casting. That is why it is listed as INTERMEDIATE in terms of difficulty. You're up for the challenge and by the end of the session, you'll be on your way to becoming a skilled plaster caster!
