Native American Hunting Techniques

Join Arkansas Archaeology Society in learning more about the mechanics and utility behind Native American Hunting Techniques. Learn from a Archaeologist on the different tools used and how they were made hundreds of years ago. Then you get to try your hand at throwing a spear and shooting blow darts at a fake rabbit target. Safety is the upmost importance at this event. We encourage patrons to wear proper shoes and follow safety guidelines for this activity. Participants will be asked to sign a permission form to participate. All ages welcome with young children accompanied by guardians.
