Book Launch: Charles Ghigna

Have you heard of Father Goose, aka Charles Ghigna? If not, we’d like to introduce you to this prolific Alabama poet who has authored more than 5000 poems and 250 books/anthologies for all ages. His newest book, SOUTHERN BRED, is for adults: a haunting collection of gothic poems that captivate and transport the reader into the heart and soul of the Deep South. Come hear him read, talk, and give you a glimpse into then South’s mystery and enchantment, beauty and darkness.

Charles Ghigna served as poet-in-residence at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, instructor of creative writing�at Samford University, and is one of the finest poets of our time. Join us for this free event next week.
