This class is FREE and open to the public. We hope you’ll join us on Sunday, July 13th at 2:00 PM for A Day in the Life of an Appalachian Herbalist with Sue Hovemeyer, of Sue’s Nourishing Herbs.
Sue’s journey into herbalism began in the late 1970s with the birth of her children, inspiring a lifelong focus on supporting women and families. She crafts her own distinctive herbal teas and tinctures, each a reflection of her personal experience and deep connection to the plants she works with.
She is a retired traditional midwife who served families across Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. Today, she channels her rich experience and deep-rooted herbal wisdom into crafting and sharing her own herbal preparations, made with care from sustainably harvested plants.
