Barry’s always had an outdoorsman’s HEART and will be remembered for it. In his free time for many years, Barry and his wife, Sara, enjoyed taking their dogs hiking, camping, hunting and exploring new places together. The disease that debilitated him and affected our family for the last 6 months is not only devastating to watch up close and personal, but devastating for those of us who could not protect him and console him during life’s normal ups and downs. An alumni of MAHS, Chesapeake College (Wye Mills, MD) and Susquehanna University, Barry had immense support from friends and colleagues, as well as his fellowship in God that we are eternally grateful for. Barry had several blood transfusions while fighting cancer with chemotherapy and radiation, taking a toll on his healthy blood cells. In donating blood in Barry’s honor, not only will you be benefiting those in their fight against this unwelcome disease, but you will be helping serve communities in Central Pennsylvania receive blood, plasma and platelets for a better quality of life. Close to their hearts, Uncle Barry’s niece and nephews would like to give back through a community blood drive in Hummelstown.
Please consider donating in Barry's name!
Everyone will receive 2 Harrisburg Senators ticket vouchers, good for any 2025 regular season home game & a Blood Donor T-Shirt!
