So here's how a practice works. There are minimal workers on course. Everyone is required to work for an hour shift on course picking up cones. If you don't work we will send Liam Neeson after you. ;)
So here's what I expect:
- There will be a grid. Use it like a regular grid. Go in order. Wait your turn. If you decide you're going to hotlap and not wait your turn, you're gonna sit out for an hour.
- If you're not going to run, put your hood and trunk up or pull out of grid back to paddock. Some of us make adjustments to the car. That's cool, we will all get 20+ runs I'd bet. :)
- Be aware of your surroundings (don't run over your neighbor's stuff).
- Stay hydrated and wear sunscreen. We will have a limited amount of water on hand. Don't rely on us as your primary hydration source. Apply sunscreen often. July in Texas can be like Satan's oven at times lol. Don't get burned.
- Ask for help if you want to try and get some tips. There will be a few instructors out at this event doing our own testing, but we can help you if you want :) We are a big family here to have fun and grow together.
- Be clean. Please don't leave trash out anywhere. Collect your junk and toss in the dumpster.
