Year 7 Settling-in Evening

We warmly invite all Year 7 parents and carers to our Settling-in Evening on Thursday 25 September 2025, between 4.00pm and 6.30pm in the main hall.

This is a valuable opportunity to meet your child’s Form Tutor and to hear how your child has settled at Honley High School. Further information on booking appointments has been emailed and given to students. If you have any questions about your child’s day, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s Form Tutor.

In addition, Mrs Bardell (SENDCo) and Mrs Webster (Welfare Officer) will be holding drop-in sessions on the Settling-in Evening to support with any welfare or educational needs queries.

Please note that subject teachers will be available to discuss academic progress at the Year 7 Progress Evening on Thursday 4 December 2025. Further information about this event will be sent closer to the time.

Parking will be available in the staff car park via Gate 2, opposite Honley Station. If arriving before 4.00pm, or at particularly busy times, please use Station Road or Gynn Lane. If parking on the main road, we kindly ask that you are considerate of our neighbours and keep driveways clear.
