Creative Sprint: Fast Art Making

Feeling stuck? Overthinking every brushstroke? Or maybe you’re just craving a creative jolt?Creative Sprint is a high-energy, art-making session for adults (18+) where the focus is volume, speed, and spontaneity—not perfection. Through a series of timed sprints and creative prompts, you’ll make multiple pieces of art in quick bursts using design principles like contrast, rhythm, and emphasis as your guide. We’ll tap into Studio Habits of Mind, right-brain warm-ups, “Yes, and…” thinking, and other creative strategies to unlock ideas and stop fear from slowing you down.By the end, you’ll walk out with at least three new concepts or prototypes—plus a few unexpected surprises along the way.
