Celebrate Afghan Culture at the Refugee Week Festival 2025! Join us on June 22nd at Cranford Community College in Hounslow for a special day dedicated to the rich traditions and vibrant heritage of Afghanistan.

• Location: Cranford Community College, High Street, Hounslow TW5 9PD
• Date & Time: June 22 (Afghan Day), from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible, including accessible toilets and designated viewing areas.

Event Highlights:

• Afghan Day Celebrations — Dive into the heart of Afghan culture with traditional music, dance, food, and crafts. Enjoy performances by renowned artists such as Freshta Sama, Roya Doost, Hashmat Ehsanmand, Hamid Taban, and more.

Facilities:

• Food and Drink: Savor authentic Afghan cuisine at our food stalls, offering a taste of Afghanistan’s rich culinary traditions. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available.
• Seating and Rest Areas: Comfortable seating and quiet zones ensure a pleasant experience for all attendees.

• Parking: £3 per day, with priority spaces for blue badge holders.
• Safety Measures: On-site first aid stations and full-time security personnel.
• Tickets: Adults - £10 (online), £15 (at the gate); Children - £5. No pets or alcohol permitted. Special exceptions made for service animals.

This day is a part of the annual Refugee Week Festival, celebrating the contributions, creativity, and resilience of refugees. The Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA), a charity founded by Dr Nooralhaq Nasimi, an Afghan refugee and MBE honouree, is proud to host this enriching event.
