Bookings are now open online for our very popular Cafe Bridge on Tuesday, June 24.
This is a fund raising event for a local Charity Integrated Neurological Services, which has been operating for 25 years, principally in Twickenham and Hounslow. INS provides rehabilitation and support for those with long term neurological conditions.
INS volunteers will be joining us on the day organising a raffle. Lew Gray, one of the RBC’s long standing members, is a Trustee of INS.
Janet Leffler is leading our cafe bridge team this year supported by Zita Crewe, Sally Durant, Jonathan Hird & Caroline Owens. They have provisionally agreed some of the restaurants taking part including
The Old Ship, The Britannia, Cote, Buenos Aires, Pizza Express, Angel & Crown, Rosa’s Thai, Adesso, Noci & Watermans
On the day arrive at 10.45am at your starting venue. There will be 3 rounds before lunch and another 3 after. We will be directed as always by the wonderful Victor Lesk and his team with scores entered electronically by players on their smartphones, using the BriAn app-based scoring system. This allows us to announce a result very soon after the last board is played.
The cost per person is £40.00 (for bridge and food; drinks not included). Bookings will be taken via credit/debit card or BACS transfer through the BriAnBridge website, link in bio.
