Sumi-e Japanese Ink Painting Class with Regina-Champagne Babin NBCT

Using traditional art supplies, each student will experience four paint strokes to create four plants. Each plant represents a positive trait of mankind. Plants represented are: Bamboo (humility), orchid (gracefulness), chrysanthemum (courage) and plum blossom (perseverance). Experience the embodiment of Japanese aesthetics! Ages: teens & adults. 3pm-5pm

10-20 sheets of drawing paper, black sumi ink, one medium size bamboo brush
