Summer Solstice Walk - Whernside

Join us for an evening Summer Solstice Walk on Whernside, the highest peak in Yorkshire.

The summer solstice takes place at 9.21pm on the 21st June 25. Our aim is to do a circular walk around Whernside, starting and finishing at Ribblehead. Getting to the summit in time to watch the sun go down on the solstice.

At 736m, Whernside is the highest summit in Yorkshire and one of the famous Yorkshire 3 Peaks. Views from the top are far ranging, from the other 3 Peak summits to Morecambe Bay and the Lake District.

This event is dog friendly and your four legged friends are most welcome.
