Time: 9.15am to set off at 9.30am
Parking: Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, Broadwood Entrance, Ingleton, Carnforth LA6 3ET
Distance: 4.3 miles - Moderate/Challenging
I have not done this one before so you may need to bear with me!
I think the trail itself will be fairly self-explanatory as it is a very well use walk.
Where to dip will be the question as there are several waterfalls, I would suggest bringing 2 sets of wet clothes incase we double-dip.
The walk itself described on the website states: "The total length of the circular trail is four and a half miles, so you should allow between 2 and 4 hours to complete it. This is a strenuous walk with a large number of steps along the full route, the trail follows a well-defined footpath and is unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Sections of the path are uneven and can be slippery at times. Please stay on the path, for your own safety and to help us protect this special environment."
Please bring a picnic plus warm drink and plenty of water if it's a hot day.
Walking boots are also advisable.
Please don't forget to register through Healthscape but also book and pay for yourself on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail website.
Let's have a new adventure together!
