Consett Canicross are delighted to announce our 2025/26 Trail Series opener at Wheelbirks Parlour

Open to participants of all abilities - enjoy 4.2 or 8.4 (ish) miles of exclusive rugged trails on a private estate!!

Following the Greener Miles Backyard Ultra loop you will complete either one or two laps where you are guaranteed hills, mud and the unrivalled Consett Canicross community welcome.

Race Starts at 9am with a staggered start based on your estimated time.

Entry includes:

Medal for all finishers

Trophies for First Male & Female Individual Finishers

Event Photographs

Post Run drink for you and your dog(S)

Veterinary cover provided by WestWay Veterinary Hospital

First Aid and Canine First Aid Cover

10% Donation to Animal Charity

Registration/number collection opens at 8am on the race morning and will be available until 15 minutes before the start time.

On-site cafe open for post race food, drinks and socialisation (dogs welcome in the Orchard).
