A highly physical and laugh out loud take on fatherhood across generations, cultures and languages.

Being a father in the 21st century is complicated, especially when you’re the father of a son of mixed heritage. Shane Shambhu shares his own experiences of being and having a dad in his Keralan, Turkish and Austrian family, interwoven with stories of other lives making their way in a changing world.

Fatherhood blends physical theatre, sharply written text, and South Indian dance to create a funny, moving and inspiring experience.

All performances include integrated captions. Post show activity includes an interactive talk with South-Indian and Turkish nibbles.

This performance is brought to Highlights through the Rural Touring Dance Initiative.
