Bug Detectives at Davy Down - Family Nature Trail

🐞Calling all curious kids and nature-loving families!🐞

Join us at Davy Down for a drop-in guided bug hunt designed to get little explorers engaged with green spaces.

Follow along a marked trail through meadows, woodlands, and ponds, using our fun and colourful bug detective sheet to spot and tick off mini beasts like ladybirds, grasshoppers, butterflies, woodlice and more. Grab a magnifying glass, explore different habitats, and discover fascinating facts from our volunteers all about the insects living all around us!

When you're done, return to the visitor centre for free refreshments, your official bug detective sticker, and even a surprise reward for your efforts!

Please register your interest so we have an idea of numbers. This event is perfect for families with children aged 4+. All materials and equipment are provided free of charge.
