​Conservation Council for Hawai'i is a watchdog organization protecting marine species and their ecosystems in the State of Hawai‘I, and places under the U.S. jurisdiction in the Pacific.

​Currently, we are concerned about the latest Presidential Proclamation allowing industrial commercial fishing within the boundaries of The Pacific Islands Heritage Marine National Monument (PIHMNM), Deep Sea Mining within the CCZ (International waters) between Hawai‘I and Mexico, the building of a launching site at Kalama (Johnston Island) in the PIHMNM, and using Ka‘ulu Island as a target practice.

​his is a hybrid event. In-person attendance is highly encouraged, but the meetings are also held by Zoom.
