In this short series, we will work through many of the common fan tricks and techniques in Sammie’s signature style. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to bring both a set of standard fan veils and a set of larger stave flutter fans since the differences will be covered.

An advanced-level flutter fan class (inclusive of choreography) will run starting in July (official dates coming soon).

Students will NOT be permitted to take this class without prior experience taking fan classes with me - the class will be taught assuming that you already know my fan vocabulary and have a high comfort level with double flutters in my style. I. Will. Not. Be. Gentle. (lol - you have been warned) - serious challenge seekers only, please.

Choreo will involve high speeds, spins, and ambidextrous tricks. You will be welcome to self-adjust choreography to your comfort, but I will not spend time to break down tricks that I consider standard for my style. If you have not used fans in a while, or if you have not taken fans with me before, I would HIGHLY recommend taking the June class to make sure that you are adequately refreshed and prepped for the advanced-level class.
