The long-awaited return of French harp superstar Emmanuel Ceysson!
French musician Emmanuel Ceysson enjoys shaking up the clichés associated with his instrument. With his harp, Emmanuel Ceysson travels the world to give recitals, in concerto, or play chamber music. As a soloist, he has given recitals in major concert venues such as Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and Wiener Konzerthaus, impressing critics worldwide. The Washington Post praised Ceysson, stating that “his technique and his musicianship are virtually flawless.”
Ceysson is currently the harpist at the Los Angeles Philharmonic, where he recently premiered the new harp concerto by Joe Hisaishi that was written specifically for him. He previously held the principal harp position with the Opéra National de Paris and the New York Metropolitan Opera.
He is the first harpist ever to win the Gold Medal at three prestigious international competitions, including the US International Harp Competition, Young Concert Artists in New York and the ARD Competition in Munich.
His last appearance in Hong Kong was at the Beare’s Premiere Music Festival (formerly known as the “Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival”) in 2018.
Emmanuel Ceysson returns to Hong Kong with a stunning French programme called “Images” featuring works by Debussy, Tournier, Caplet and Fauré.

萬眾期待的豎琴巨星 塞崇（Emmanuel Ceysson）載譽歸來！
法國豎琴家塞崇樂於打破人們對其樂器固有的刻板印象。他帶著豎琴走遍世界各地，以獨奏會、協奏曲以及室內樂打動全球樂迷。他曾在卡內基音樂廳，威格摩爾音樂廳和維也納金色大廳等主要音樂廳舉行獨奏會，為世界各地的樂評家留下深刻的印象。《華盛頓郵報》對塞崇讚譽有加，稱其「技藝和音樂性堪稱完美無瑕」。
塞崇現為洛杉磯愛樂樂團的豎琴演奏家。久石讓更專為塞崇新創作的豎琴協奏曲，並於不久前由塞崇領銜作世界首演。塞崇亦曾在巴黎國家歌劇院和紐約大都會歌劇院擔任豎琴首席。
塞崇是史上首奪三大國際權威比賽金獎的豎琴家，包括美國國際豎琴比賽、紐約青年演奏藝術家比賽和ARD慕尼黑國際音樂大賽。
塞崇上一次在香港亮相是2018年比爾斯飛躍演奏音樂節（前為「香港國際室內樂音樂節」）。
