In this special visit, we will explore the GuWei Museum with an expert guided tour lasting 1.5 hours. We will conclude with afternoon tea, enjoying stunning panoramic views of Aberdeen Lower Reservoir and Lamma Island at the Museum Coffee Shop. The GuWei Museum is committed to passing on both Chinese and foreign traditional cultures to the next generation by organizing exhibitions and cultural and educational activities. During this visit, you will have the opportunity to view the new exhibition, “The Wanli Shipwreck: Blue-and-White Porcelain in Global Trade.” Our guide will share insights about their collection and the stories behind it.

Co-founded by Mr. Franco Cutrupia, Chairman of the Sapientia Foundation, and his wife, Ms. Pauline Ngai Cutrupia, the GuWei Museum is the first private museum in the Southern District to blend exhibitions, cultural education, and leisure. Opened to the public on 24 September 2024, the museum features a diverse collection of 1,035 artefacts from various historical periods and regions worldwide. These include porcelainware, silverware, carpets, paintings, textiles, and jewellery, inviting visitors to explore the distinctive patterns, forms, and colours that represent both Eastern and Western cultures. In addition to its exhibitions, the museum offers a vibrant array of workshops and programmes for all ages, inspiring creativity and bringing fresh dynamism to Hong Kong's cultural landscape.
