About the event

Conservation Detection Dogs with CEDaR
While we all know that dogs are often considered man’s best friend, did you know they can also play a role in conservation? Join the Centre for Environmental Data and Recording (CEDaR) at the Folk Museum on Tuesday 26th August, for Conservation Detection Dogs to find out how!

In this morning workshop, Dr. Caroline Finlay from Conservation Detection Dogs NI will share how dogs can help detect bat species, track rare plants and support species protection through surveying.

Whether you’re passionate about nature, fascinated by conservation, or simply a dog lover, this “ulti-mutt” experience is not to be missed!
