Book Talk & Signing with Marguerite Holloway- "Take to the Trees"

Join us on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 4:00 PM for an engaging afternoon with acclaimed author and Columbia Journalism School professor, Marguerite Holloway, at Beaver Brook Association in Hollis, New Hampshire. Hosted by Balin Books, this event offers a unique opportunity to hear from Holloway about her latest book, Take to the Trees: A Story of Hope, Science, and Self-Discovery in America's Imperiled Forests.

In Take to the Trees, Holloway explores the challenges facing America's forests, including climate change, through a personal journey of tree climbing and environmental science. Her book blends memoir and conservation, offering hope for the future of our forests while reflecting on personal loss.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration in advance is required.

BBA members will receive a 10% discount on book purchases. Books will be available for purchase at the event, and Holloway will be signing copies following her talk.
