Garden visit - Kamala, Hockley

Our final garden visit of the year takes us to a lovely private garden in Hockley.

Booking is required via the form on the website which was also attached to the Spring newsletter. We require final numbers by 4th August at the latest please. Just £10 for members, £11 for non-members.

This garden contains herbaceous borders which are densely planted to provide continuous colour throughout the year containing many unusual and interesting plants as well as the more traditional cottage varieties. There are many trees, shrubs, various climbers with bananas and bamboos adding an exotic note, as well as many different canna. Grasses sway above the blooms giving movement. Nestled above a pergola containing climbing roses is an aviary which houses a breeding pair of Amazon parrots. The garden featured on Gardeners’ World in August 2021, the visit includes refreshments.
