Plants will be swapped through an organized process at SPECIFIC times at the beginning of the event. If you don't want to swap you can still shop! Shopping 🛍 will be available from unique plant related small businesses, and locals selling plants/ plant related items from their own collections & abundance.

📌For those participating in the swap portion of the event:
How does the swap work? 🪴🔄
READ CAREFULLY
1️⃣ Bring up to 3 plants/healthy starts to swap 🌵
- For each plant (up to 3) you bring you will leave with (up to 3) others via timed swap interactions.
- This year we are allowing for a 4th additional plant if it is a GARDEN related plant.
- If you bring more than one plant to swap, NO DUPLICATES of common plants ie: spider plants, aloe, golden pothos, mother of thousands, heartleaf philo etc. One each of common varieties per person.
- Healthy Cuttings are acceptable in appropriate mediums🌱
- Check your plants for pests before 🐛 planning on attending. No one wants to take home unwelcomed guests. HEALTHY plants ONLY.
2️⃣ Show up on time. Check-in for the swap and shopping start at 1pm. Get in line with your plants! 🕐
- Do not enter the entrance for shoppers as you will skip the necessary check-in process. You can shop once you're checked in before and after the swap starts.
- REMEMBER: The swap take place over a period of 1.5 hours with time to shop and grab a drink in between.
3️⃣ You will be assigned a group number #️⃣🔢 and a swap color level 🟢🟡🔴🔵
- Your group # will be called when it is your round to swap. You will have as many rounds as plants you bring (up to 3, plus an addition plant if it is a garden plant). If you bring 1 plant, you will participate in 1 round. If you bring 3 plants, you will participate in 3 rounds etc
- Your plants will be assigned a level based on a few factors (supply & demand, market price, size, garden or houseplant etc)
- Level 1 🟢 including the more basic, easier to find plants.
- Level 2 🟡 including mid-level house plants.
- Level 3 🔴 hard-to-find and pricier plants.
- Level 4 🔵 - all outdoor & garden plants
- Larger more basic plant may be bumped a level to make up for the value in age and size.
- You will place your plant on the colored table it was assigned.
- Your plant's level will determine which category you can swap from during your group's rounds. If you brought a level 1 🟢, you swap from a level 1 🟢 and so on
- Check-in will stop at 1:45 There will be no new participants added after. (Event & check-in starts at 12:30pm, swap will officially start at 2pm and last until we get through all the groups)
📌 Please Note:
- Each level will have a wide variety of options allowing participants to hopefully leave with something new for their collection. There is no return value guarantee so be sure only to bring what you are comfortable giving freely 💚
- All garden/outdoor plants will be in a separate level 🌻🌸🌷
⭐️This information is specifically only for those showing up for the SWAP portion of the event. Those shopping, drinking, eating, hanging out do not need to check in and there will be a separate path of entrance. 💚

We are giving extra entries for the door prize drawing if you bring items to donate. Please consider bringing items to help fill the pantries. Toiletries, canned goods with pop-tops, granola bars, etc are all good options.
