August At The Abbey - Irish & American Roots!

ASO presents a concert of Irish music featuring the Irish Band BOXTY and ASO Flutist Brendan Ryan.

Join us for our annual community concert at Glastonbury Abbey!

Dublin-born singer Cormac Marnell founded Boxty in 2015. The four members present a unique blend of Irish and American songs and tunes, leaning into their Irish roots, but drawing from both traditions. They've performed all over New England, including at New England Revolution games and for the Hurling Classic at Fenway.

We're thrilled to welcome ASO flutist Brendan Ryan back to Glastonbury, with a special set of songs spotlighting the Irish sounds of the flute.

The concert will be a fun day with ice cream from Nona's Homemade Ice Cream Truck and some cornhole on the lawn. Bring a chair or a blanket, and enjoy a picnic with friends and family.
