Hillsboro Rotary’s 4th of July Parade!

NE Grant St & NE 17th Ave, Hillsboro
Meeting time 7:30 am.
Depart to Staging: 8:00 am or earlier if all the RSVP's are there.
Be sure to RSVP to make this work.
OMS will be participating in Hillsboro Rotary’s 4th of July Parade for the 2st time!
If you drive a Classic Mini or a New MINI, then you should think about coming out and being part of the Parade with us.
OMS will be pre-staging before go into the Parade Staging Area (TBD), this way we go in together as a group. We will then have two hours to decorate our Mini/MINIs.

PARADE PARTICIPANT INSTRUCTIONS & RULES;
Welcome to the Hillsboro Rotary 4th of July Parade. Please read this document carefully.
GENERAL INFORMATION, RULES & EXPECTATIONS
Please be respectful of neighbors, their lawns, yards and driveways.
Since the parade will be staged in several different areas throughout our downtown neighborhoods, it is important that we keep the noise level in the early morning to a minimum.
Please do not leave behind any trash or items. Thank you for your cooperation.
No Squirt guns are allowed – No Exceptions. They will be confiscated!!
On parade day, portable toilets will be provided around the various staging areas, but there are no facilities for changing clothes.
Candy may be distributed by people WALKING CURBSIDE.
Candy tossed from vehicles MUST LAND AT THE CURB.
Excited children (and adults) running into the street for candy during a parade can be hazardous.
All units should hold proper intervals in the procession (approximately 20 feet)—DO NOT CROWD OR ALLOW LARGE GAPS.
There will be Parade Marshals along the route that can help, as necessary.
All entries will be directed to disband at HARE FIELD.
DUE TO SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS STALLIONS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE.
OMS also believes you should leave your Support Stallion at home on that day too.
