Strangers Helping Strangers will host a free community Thanksgiving dinner in the Rural King parking lot in Hillsboro on Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, Nov. 27 - from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. If you need a meal, come on out and get one.
We will set up in the area of the Rural King parking lot that is close to Taco Bell.
The Wards, who operate the Family BBQ food truck, will donate the ham!
We will serve your choice of ham or turkey, plus sides like baked beans, green beans and sweet potatoes plus a dinner roll and dessert. We will provide the enclosed trays for the food, and bottled water, for you to take home.
