Strawberry Moonrise Hike at Satulah Mountain

When: June 11th, 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Where: Meet at Kelsey-Hutcherson Founders Park, 411-499 Pine St, Highlands, NC 28741

Join HCLT for a magical evening hike to watch June’s full moon, the Strawberry Moon, rise over the Plateau from the summit of Satulah Mountain Preserve. Experience the breathtaking sunset views from the west, and watch the Strawberry Moon rise in the east as you wander through stunning trails. Led by knowledgeable guides from the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust, you'll discover the beauty of the preserve while soaking in the vibrant colors of dusk and the serene glow of the moon. Bring your family, friends, and a sense of adventure for an unforgettable outdoor experience!
This hike is 3.5 miles round trip and considered moderate to strenuous.
