Paint Like the Masters Oil Painting Workshop

Paint like the masters with the Grisaille Method, 2 day oil painting workshop with local artist Tina Corbett. Tina is an award winning artist who owns Lanza Gallery & Art Supplies in downtown High Springs, Florida.

In this class you will paint an underpainting in Grisaille and finish with glazes and impasto. You need not have experience but be ready to be traditional taught to oil paint. This class with the right tools listed on the supply list, will start you in your growth to be an artist.

1st Saturday, August 23, 10am - 4pm
In this class we will review our plan and learn how to navigate the medium of oil paint, our tools, colors and palette. We will start our painting by concentrating on our light and dark values using 2 colors, white & black. Then building our underpainting and taking it to almost a finished simplistic black and white painting.

2nd Saturday, August 30, 10am - 2pm
We will then see the color come to life with our oils using light glazes of colors and opaque’s to finish it off. You will go home with a finished painting which will be a rich and in depth oil painting.
